FEATURED EVENT
Hampshire’s 150th Birthday Celebration June 2026

As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, Hampshire will mark a milestone of its own — 150 years of community, resilience, and shared history. In tribute to our forefathers whose hard work laid the foundation for generations to follow, the Hampshire Township Historical Society is working with the community and the 150th Anniversary Committee to help bring back a beloved tradition: Old-Fashioned Days.

Old-Fashioned Days Returns
June 5–7, 2026
Save the date and join us as we celebrate Hampshire’s Sesquicentennial in true hometown style. Old-Fashioned Days was the centerpiece of our 100th Centennial Celebration, making it only fitting to bring it back for our 150th. We are proud to revive this cherished community tradition.
Do you remember the kids’ decorated bicycle parade, the crowd-favorite firemen’s water fights, sidewalk sales, the old-fashioned ice cream social, the rocking chair contest, sing-alongs, and the lively Kitchen Band, all leading up to the happening Saturday night street dance with live music?
The new celebration will showcase many of these cherished traditions.
Full details coming soon. Click here to visit our Event page for updates.
