Our organization was formed in 2001 by a group of local citizens who wanted to protect and preserve the history of the Village of Hampshire, Illinois and the surrounding Hampshire Township.

create exhibits, displays, and digital archives that ensure Hampshire’s history is
remembered and enjoyed for generations to come.
